Because BlueFinder does not require an account and much of its Bluetooth, signal, camera, motion, and saved-device processing is designed to occur locally, we may not possess or be able to identify this locally processed information.
11. Children’s Privacy
BlueFinder is a general-audience utility and is not directed primarily to children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner prohibited by applicable law.
Where a user cannot legally agree to this Policy independently, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree on the user’s behalf.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to BlueFinder, our service providers, platform requirements, or applicable law.
We will publish the updated Policy and revise the “Last Updated” date.
Part II — BlueFinder-Specific Privacy Practices
13. Privacy Summary
BlueFinder is designed so that:
- no Pack of Apps account is required;
- Bluetooth access is controlled through Apple’s permission system;
- Bluetooth scanning and relative signal analysis occur on your iPhone;
- saved-device information and user-assigned device names are stored locally;
- camera frames used by AR Finder are processed on your device and are not designed to be saved or uploaded to our servers;
- Motion & Fitness information used for AR guidance is processed locally;
- Bluetooth readings are not used by us for advertising or behavioural profiling; and
- you control when BlueFinder searches for and guides you toward a device.
14. Bluetooth Permission
BlueFinder requires Bluetooth permission for its core functionality.
Bluetooth access allows the App to:
- discover nearby Bluetooth Low Energy devices that are advertising and visible to iOS;
- read available broadcast information;
- observe relative signal strength;
- determine whether a device was recently visible;
- assist with identifying a device through repeated scans; and
- provide relative signal guidance while searching for a selected device.
You can review or revoke Bluetooth permission in iOS Settings.
If Bluetooth access is not granted or Bluetooth is unavailable, BlueFinder’s main functionality will not work.
15. Bluetooth Information Processed on Your Device
BlueFinder may process locally available Bluetooth information including:
- broadcast or advertised device name, where available;
- an identifier provided through Apple’s Bluetooth framework;
- broadcasted services;
- relative signal strength and changes in signal strength;
- timestamps such as when a device was last observed;
- scan-stage results;
- information needed to compare devices across repeated scans; and
- locally assigned names and saved-device information.
Bluetooth devices may expose different information depending on their hardware, firmware, settings, current state, and Apple’s platform behaviour.
16. Bluetooth Information and Location
Bluetooth radio signals can reveal approximate proximity and, in some circumstances, may contribute to inferences about location.
BlueFinder uses Bluetooth signal information for its device-discovery and device-finding functions.
The App is designed to process these readings locally and not to use them to build broadcasting profiles, track you across apps or websites, or sell location information.
Bluetooth signal strength does not provide an exact physical distance or precise device location.
17. Saved Devices and Device Names
You may save a discovered device in My Devices and assign it a name that is meaningful to you.
Locally stored information may include:
- the device’s broadcast name, where available;
- your chosen device name;
- a platform-provided identifier;
- broadcasted services;
- recent signal information;
- last-seen information; and
- settings associated with that saved device.
Bluetooth identifiers and broadcast characteristics can change after a device is reset, updated, reconfigured, or changed by its manufacturer or by Apple’s platform behaviour.
As a result, a previously saved device may occasionally need to be identified or linked again.
18. Multi-Scan Device Identification
BlueFinder may help identify a particular nearby Bluetooth device by comparing multiple scans taken under different conditions.
For example, the App may ask you to:
- place the device near your iPhone;
- turn the device’s Bluetooth off or move it farther away; and
- turn it back on or bring it close again.
BlueFinder compares changes between these scans locally to narrow the possible devices.
This process is an identification aid and may not always uniquely identify the intended device.
19. Signal Radar and Guided Finding
Signal Radar and other guided-search functions may process:
- current Bluetooth signal strength;
- recent signal samples;
- relative changes or trends;
- movement between samples; and
- search-session state.
Signal readings are approximate and can fluctuate because of:
- walls, furniture, people, or other physical obstructions;
- device orientation;
- interference from other wireless equipment;
- antenna design;
- battery or power state;
- device advertising behaviour; and
- environmental conditions.
BlueFinder uses these readings as relative guidance, not as a precise measurement of distance or position.
20. Camera Permission and AR Finder
AR Finder may request access to the Camera.
The Camera is used to help map the surrounding space and associate Bluetooth signal samples with positions or directions in the current search session.
Camera frames are designed to be processed on your iPhone for the AR experience.
BlueFinder is not designed to save or upload those camera frames to Saval AI Labs Pvt. Ltd. or its servers as part of AR Finder.
You can revoke Camera access through iOS Settings.
If Camera access is denied, AR Finder may be unavailable, but non-camera finding functions may remain available.
21. Motion & Fitness Permission
AR Finder may request Motion & Fitness access.
Motion information may be used to:
- determine when you are holding the iPhone sufficiently still for a signal sample;
- detect movement between sampling positions; and
- support the AR-assisted search experience.
Motion data used for these functions is designed to remain on your device.
You may revoke Motion & Fitness permission through iOS Settings.
If permission is denied, some AR Finder functionality may be unavailable or reduced.
22. AR and Search Session Information
During an AR-assisted search, BlueFinder may temporarily process locally:
- Bluetooth signal samples;
- relative signal changes;
- device movement;
- camera-derived spatial information;
- sample positions; and
- search progress.
This information is used to provide the active finding session.
The App is not designed to use AR-session information for advertising or cross-app tracking.
23. When a Device Cannot Be Found
BlueFinder can only discover or guide you toward a device when the relevant Bluetooth signal is available to the iPhone.
A device may not be discoverable if it is:
- powered off;
- out of Bluetooth range;
- not currently advertising;
- in a sleep or low-power state;
- configured to hide or limit its Bluetooth broadcasts;
- using a Bluetooth mode not visible to the App;
- affected by interference; or
- unavailable because of iOS or hardware restrictions.
BlueFinder does not continuously track devices when the App is not actively able to receive their Bluetooth broadcasts.
24. Purchases and BlueFinder Pro
BlueFinder may offer BlueFinder Pro through one-time and/or auto-renewable In-App Purchases.
Apple processes purchases and manages billing.
BlueFinder may receive or verify limited subscription and entitlement information to unlock, maintain, and restore paid features.
Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription.
25. Analytics, Diagnostics, and Tracking
BlueFinder is not designed to use raw Bluetooth scan information, camera frames, or Motion & Fitness information for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Apple may provide us with app analytics, crash reports, or diagnostic information where you have chosen to share such information with developers.
If we add or change third-party analytics, crash-reporting, subscription-management, advertising, or attribution services, we will update this Policy and applicable App Store privacy disclosures as required.
26. Support Information
Information you choose to send to support is used to:
- respond to your request;
- troubleshoot issues;
- maintain support records; and
- improve BlueFinder.
Do not send passwords, Apple Account credentials, payment credentials, or information that is not necessary to investigate the issue.
27. Revoking Access and Removing Data
You can revoke BlueFinder’s Bluetooth, Camera, or Motion & Fitness permissions through iOS Settings.
You can remove locally stored BlueFinder data by deleting the App, subject to Apple’s device, backup, and restoration behaviour.
Deleting the App does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.
For personal information held by us through support, purchases, diagnostics, or website operations, submit a request to packofapps@saval.ai.
